Welcome
Welcome to our web site. We hope you will find it interesting and entertaining as entertaining is what these little dogs do best.
History
Already having and showing our second show Doberman, Peris, we looked for a smaller addition to join our family and chose after much research the German Pinscher. 2001 saw the arrival of our first German Pinscher a black and tan bitch called Seren (welsh for star). Her kennel name is Inxs Black Ice Mit Jakave. We continued showing both Peris and Seren often racing from ring to ring as classes clashed.
In 2003, having taken some time away from the ring, we saw the arrival of Seren's litter and Peris was retired from the show ring as we decided to concentrate on the pinschers now, having kept two pups to show and our hands very full.
September 2007 saw the arrival of Hoshi as, again after much research we decided to diversify, and this was brought forward after the loss of a litter of pinscher pups.
2008 was a very sad year as in April just a few days after Peris 10 birthday we had to say goodbye as he crossed over the rainbow bridge, he is sorely missed.
2009 was a year of ups and downs with good results from Crufts followed by the loss of our Lucy to a brain tumour in April. We were already on a list for a new puppy and this was to arrive in October – our Mieko.
2010 started off with Seren, who had lost her sight at Christmas now losing her sense of smell so regrettably this brought the end of an era of joy with our Pinschers with Just our Enfys left in retirement. Our Shebas, however, did well with Mieko getting Puppy Group 2 and Adult Group 2 at her first show and Hoshi getting a first at BUPA championship show in Post Graduate Bitch and 2nd at WELKS. We have now acquired yet another Shiba to add to the gang – Jiltrains Gingerbread man (Ginger) so watch this space.
We invite you to look at our pages for both breeds and follow the course of events that have lead us to today.
